Fall

For players 11-12 years old on April 30 of the following year who played in Major A the previous spring and anticipate playing in Major A the following spring.

This program emphasizes instruction on specific skills (throwing, fielding, hitting, baserunning) and also features games between teams from Brookline, Newton, Watertown and Needham in a league comparable to spring Major A. Teams play two games each week, one on Sunday afternoon and one on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evening.

Important note: playing in the Majors fall league does not guarantee that a player will play in the Major A league the following spring. Placement on a spring Major A team is determined by several factors and usually includes a tryout process independent from the fall baseball program.
